HELEN GORRELL (nee GUSHTA) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Gorrell (Gushta) on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at the Grace Hospital, at the age of 81 years. Remaining to forever cherish Helen's memory are her daughter Sharon Yee (Gorrell); Yam Yee, who was her son-in-law and care-giver for many years; son Kenton Gorrell; grandchildren Kim Yee and Paul Yee; great-grandchildren Keith and Keira; brothers Victor Gushta, Albert Gushta, Winnie Manitowich, Jeanette Manitowich, Eva Chuhie, Kay Plante and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers and sisters Mary, Ann, Ed, Nick, Joe, John, Mike, Frank, Stella and Rose. Born and raised on a farm in Libau, Manitoba, Mom spent her adult life in Winnipeg, continuing to work hard, not only in the sewing industry, but for her family as well. On Monday, December 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Helen's Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street. A special thank you to Yam, JoAnn, Seven Oaks Hospital, Grace Hospital and Heritage Lodge for all of the care and support given to Mom. We will miss you, Mom
