WESLEY B. WOOLSTON, CMA It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Wesley Woolston at the Grace Hospice Palliative Care Unit on Monday, December 7, 2009. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 67 years, Jennie, his three children Larry (Marilyn) of Toronto, Neil, and Claudia (Rob), grandchildren Jason (Anna), Leanne and Alec and special great-grandson, Taylor, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Dorothy in Renton, Washington. Wesley was a life member of both the Society of Management Accountants and the Canadian Credit Institute. He was born in Winnipeg and grew up in the Riverview district where he lived until his retirement as Manager of the Manitoba Text Book Bureau, when they then took up residence in St. James. Wes enjoyed curling with the Antlers at the Deer Lodge Curling Club and gardening at the family cottage at Winnipeg Beach. He also met regularly with his bridge clubs and poker club. Wes and Jen also enjoyed being welcoming hosts for the wild and crazy card games with family and friends. Wes and Jen spent many years travelling to destinations far and wide the trip to historical Greece being a highlight. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the many caregivers who treated Wes with the care, respect and dignity that enabled us to get through difficult times. A celebration of Wes's life will be held on Monday, December 14, at the Viscount Gort Hotel, 1670 Portage Avenue, at 2:00 p.m. NEIL BARDAL INC. 204-949-2200 nbardal.mb.ca
