ANNE JULIA ANDERSON (nee SLOBOSKI) December 22, 1917 December 5, 2009 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother Anne at the Seven Oaks Hospital on December 5, 2009. Mom was born in Winnipeg, where she resided her entire life. In her younger years, she worked at Winnipeg Cold Storage as well as Eaton's Mail Order. Mom was very good at cooking, baking as well as knitting and crocheting. She also enjoyed dancing, reading and watching old classic movies and good comedies. She had a great love of animals, Over the years she had a few dogs and took in stray cats, whom she loved dearly. As a young girl she was predeceased by her father Zenon, mother Annie (1989), husband William (Bill) (1991), sister Natalie (Nettie) Krasnowski (1991), son-in-law Robert (Boob) Remple (2003), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, as well as her long time friends Verna, Lilly, Helen and Helene. She is survived by her daughters Teresa Remple and Carolyn Anderson, one niece June Koldy, four nephews Bryan Krasnowski, Allen Krasnowski, Bill Bond and Jack Boychuk. Our mother was a very kind person with a big heart and a gentle soul. She had endured a lot in the last three years, but maintained a strong fighting spirit to remain with us. God Bless you Mom. You are at peace now and in God's hands. We love you and we will miss you. In keeping with Mom's wishes, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place and her ashes will be interred at Brookside Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mom's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
