JOAN LORRAINE HOOVER (nee CHAPMAN) Peacefully, surrounded by family, Joan passed away on Saturday December 12, 2009 at 75 years of age. Mom will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Brian (Elaine) and her grand children Cavan Evan; her son Doug (Eileen). She is survived by her siblings Marge Dyson (Keith), Shirl Hardy (Brian), Bud Chapman (Helen), Larry Chapman (Sheila) and extended family and friends. Mom was predeceased by her mother Ivy Land and father Arthur Chapman. She worked for many years in the Insurance industry and finally retired from Parks Canada. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Maples PCH and Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and support. Cremation has already taken place. A celebration of Joan's life will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson Funeral Home. Interment arrangements to be announced at the service.
