Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLIVE PEARL ADDISON (nee FARNEL) Passed away peacefully after a brief stay at The Village by the Station December 7, 2009. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years Bill (1991) and son Brian (1995). Olive was the daughter of Millie and Sandy Farnel of Lavenham. Olive was born in Lavenham, MB and after marrying Bill moved to Winnipeg where she raised three sons; Brian, Wayne and Ron. She is survived by Wayne (California) and Ron (Peachland, BC) as well as four grandchildren and three great-grand-children. She relocated to Penticton, BC in 2001. In addition to raising her family, Olive had a very successful career in the drapery retail business in Winnipeg and Montreal. She also was very active with Queen Esther Lodge #2 in Winnipeg from 1993 to 2008, reaching the position of Noble Grand and later became an associate member with Faith Rebekak Lodge 32 in Summerland from February 2004 to November 2006. She will be remembered by all for her sparky disposition and her attention to fashion and personal care. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will take place at the Penticton Funeral Chapel, 501 Winnipeg Street, Penticton, BC on Wednesday, December 16, at 12:00 p.m. For further details please contact Wayne at 949-488-8231 or Ron at 250-767-9594.
