DIANE ST. JEAN (nee MCNAIR) Peacefully on December 11, 2009 in White Rock, BC, Diane left us to join the stars. Diane was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba on March 4, 1952 and quickly earned the friendship, respect and appreciation of all who came into her life. She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed a close contact with her brothers and sisters no matter where they were. She was predeceased by her parents, Douglas and Juliette and her brother Edward. Diane will be lovingly remembered by her husband Denis and sons, Jeffrey and Jason; four sisters, Evelyn (Len), Marie (Tony), Louise (Denny) and Patricia (Greg) and four brothers, Bob (Jennette), Gerald (Lise), David (Joelle) and Paul (Lisa). Diane will be remembered as a caring, highly dedicated and energetic individual. Throughout her long battle with cancer she was positive and an inspiration to everyone around her. Diane's determination to win demonstrated to all a strength of character rarely seen. We will miss you, Diane, but we will not forget you and we thank you for the person you were to us. We will look for you shining bright right next to the North Star. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, December 18, 2009 at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, Surrey, BC at 2:00 p.m. Diane's family would like to thank the staff of the Peace Arch Hospice, Palliative Care Unit for their kindness and compassionate care.
