AMANDA LYNN MACKIE October 26, 1965 - December 9, 2009 Amanda Lynn Mackie at the age of 44 passed away suddenly on December 9, 2009 after losing her courageous fight against Diabetes. It is with great sadness left to mourn her son Reece Mackie, father Thomas Mackie; brother John Mackie (Patti), nephews Everett and Alex, brother Eugene Mackie of Alberta; Aunt Beatrice Mackie; cousins Shirley Omer (Albert), David Mackie (children Alisha and Trevor Justin Mackie); (Uncle Henry Mackie; cousin Christopher Mackie (Karen) (children Kiera Megan); special friends Paul Einerson, Hauns (Ding) Bell and Wendy Store. Amanda also leaves many friends, relatives and co-workers. Amanda was born in Vancouver, her family moved to Fisher Branch in 1975. Amanda's kind heart and easy going way with the elderly led her to her career in the home care field. Amanda was the ultimate free spirit and lived life to the fullest. She had a love of all animals and enjoyed horseback riding from the time she was very young. Her love of music led her to learning to play guitar and writing songs. As with all things when she put her mind to it she would learn and master it with a vengeance. Her reverence for life won her many friends. Rest peacefully mother, daughter, sister and friend you will be missed.
