MILDRED DOREEN BIGGAR With the recent death of our father, Ed Biggar, on December 9, 2009 we would like to remember our mother, Doreen. She passed away after a brief illness on September 16, 2009. Mom was the light and love of our family and continues to bring warm thoughts to our hearts. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and loved to have family gatherings at her home. She was a very talented woman, which is evident in the wood carvings, needlework, paintings, Christmas ornaments, plus many others that we cherish. Mom taught us to take pride in the things we did and to do them to the best of our ability. Integrity was critical in her relationship with others and often caused disappointments. She was a willing teacher to her family and spent time in her community with 4-H and Sunday school. She was always coming up with creative ideas to keep everyone busy. She worked with Weight Watchers encouraging others to have the success that she achieved. She loved golfing, curling and just simply watching the birds and her flowers grow. Nothing was better than a good game of cards. We miss you Mom but are comforted in the fact that you and Dad are together again as ANGELS watching over us. God is Good, God is Great.
