ANNE WAGNER It is with sadness that the family of Anne Wagner announce her passing on December 10, 2009 in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 87 years. Anne will be lovingly remembered by her son Wayne and daughter-in-law Elizabeth, grandchildren Tannis Rasmusson (Jonathan), Gregory, and Lesley Chalkley (Adam), great-grandchildren Lucas, Rowan, Brynn and Sarah. Anne was predeceased by her husband Charles (2004), brother John Misko and sister Jean Dobrinsky. In addition to her immediate family she was also a cherished sister-in-law, aunt and friend. We will all miss her. Anne was born in Winnipeg (a place she loved), and lived most of her life there, moving to Edmonton and Calgary in 2003 to be closer to her family. She loved to reminisce about her sewing circle, and enjoyed hobbies of bowling, knitting and aquasizing. She loved to cook and entertain family and friends - especially Ukrainian foods. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and love of family. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Memorial Chapel, 4477 Main St., West St. Paul, Father Carl Tarnopolski officiating. In lieu of flowers, friends who so wish may make a donation to the charity of their choice.
