Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT ELIAS LEE II 1921 - 2009 Bob passed away peacefully on December 5, 2009 at the Victoria Hospital after a brief illness. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of over 60 years, Pat (Parrish), children Rob (Lesley), Rick (Laurie), Susan (Enzo), and Cynthia (Loron), grand-children Robin (Christy), Eric (Marie-Paule), Jonathan, Michael (Caroline), Amy (Matt), Andrew, Ashley and Luca, and great-grand-children Jameson and Addison, as well as his sister Ainslie of Ste. Agathe, Quebec. He was predeceased by his brother David. Bob was born in Winnipeg, the oldest son of Bob and Alex Lee and served in the Navy during the Second World War, achieving the rank of Lt. Commander. After the war he returned to Winnipeg, married Pat and embarked on his successful career as a contractor. He was very active in the Shrine and served on the board of the Shriner's Hospital. He was an avid rower as a young man, an accomplished sailor, and a man who could build anything. Following an early retirement, he continued to pursue his many interests and hobbies. The family wishes to thank Dr. B. Sharkey and the nurses and care givers at the Victoria Hospital as well as Ron Franks for the care and support provided to Bob. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's name to a charity of your choice. A private family celebration of his life has taken place.
