RANDY EUGENE REYHER Courageously on his own terms, Dad passed away peacefully on December 12, 2009 at the age of 57. Randy was loved deeply by many. He is survived by his loving wife Rhonda, children Shawn (Tara), Amanda (Paul), grandchildren Paige, Nathan, Brady, Dominic, Keiran and Emerson, parents Russell and Jean, brother Ed (Sue), father in-law Ron (Fran), brothers in-law Terry and Danny along with numerous nieces and nephews. Randy was predeceased by his mother-in-law Beverly MacKay and recently by uncle Herb Reyher. Dad was born June 6, 1952 in Lamar, Colorado. In Dad's younger years he attended school in McClave and Lamar, Colorado, this is where he graduated. He emigrated to Canada in 1968, that's when he met the love of his life, Rhonda and they were married for 38 wonderful years. Dad started his business career with a gas station in Lockport, MB. In 1976, Dad along with his father and brother started in the manufacturing business with Kingsman Fireplaces. He became a very accomplished and well respected businessman. Known to customers and suppliers alike for his compassion, enthusiasm and loyalty. Dad's passions in life were football, going to car shows to show off his 1968 Plymouth GTX, and travelling to Scotsdale, AZ for the Barrett Jackson auction. In the summer time, usually you could never catch mom and dad at home as they enjoyed nights out at Pony Corral and the Tavern. Dad loved to meet with the numerous friends they made through the years for cruz night. Dad won many awards at car shows around Manitoba and the U.S.A. Randy affectionately known as Papa to his grand-children, loved them so much. When he spoke of them, there was a sparkle in his eye. He loved spending time with them, you couldn't find a prouder person while watching them in different activities that the kids were involved in. Each one of the kids from babies onwards, had a special place cuddling on or next to Papa, the warmth and security that it provided will never be replaced. The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 19, 2009 with a public viewing at 9:00 a.m. and the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Kirkfield Park United Church, 472 Kirkfield St. 837-1017. Burial and reception to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. 885-9715. Special thanks to the staff of GD 407 at Health Sciences Centre for the compassion you showed during these difficult times. Our gratitude also goes to Dr. Lau and Cheryl Greaves, along with family and many friends. Flowers are gratefully declined, if family and friends so desire, donations can be made in dad's name to Prostate Cancer, CancerCare, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9. Rest in Peace, We love you Dad
