Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORG IGNATIUS BACKE Suddenly on December 15, 2009, Georg Ignatius Backé passed away. Left to mourn are his parents Anna and Hans; siblings Monique (Fred) and children Robert, Benedict, Trina, Kristina; Horst (Mark); Ralph (Brenda) and children Marisa and Severin; Ursula (Gareth) and children Daniel, Mathew, Nikolaus, Aaron, Sundance and Justin. Also left to mourn are various aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers. Georg was a health and safety co-ordinator and organized many blood drives as a youth care worker at MacDonald Youth Services. He previously worked at B L Homes. Georg was a member of St. Ignatius of Loyola Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree. He was completing his Human Resources Management Studies at RRCC. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Canadian Blood Services, 777 William Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3E 3R4. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Avenue, with Father Sam Argenziano officiating.
