CORA IRENE GRENICK (nee Roski / Kolbuch) 1926 - 2009 Mom passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2009. Left to cherish her memories are her partner Ed Hastman; her children Joseph Kolbuch, Elizabeth Kolbuch (Paul), Josephine Kolbuch (Chris), Debbie Hurrell (Marvin) and Cheryl Grenick; two sisters Sophie Gillis and Betty Hodgins; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her son Kenneth Kolbuch; husbands Joseph Kolbuch and Roderick Grenick, her daughter Dianna Komadowski; brothers Albert Ross and Tony Roski and sister May Barlow. Mom was born and raised in Sandhills, MB. She spent her adult life in Tyndall, Cooks Creek and Winnipeg. She retired to Tyndall and later moved to Beausejour. Mom will always be remembered for her kind heart, compassion and loving nature. Mom enjoyed dancing, gardening and travel. Mom's greatest joy in life was her family. She lived to ensure that the needs of her family were always put first. Her faith and personal strength was always there to sustain us all. We would like to thank the compassionate and caring staff at Stony Plains and the Beausejour Hospital. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 19 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour with Rev. Fr. Owen Steeves presiding. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church Cemetery in Garson, followed by a tea at the Garson Hall. Pallbearers will be Tab Hurrell, Blair Hurrell, Ron Hodgins, Terry Komadowski, Joseph Kolbuch and Ed Evanko. In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, donations would gratefully be appreciated to the Beausejour Hospital, Box 1690, Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0.
