He will be greatly missed by Gladys, his wife of 60 years, sons Robert and his wife Debi, Ken, his wife Theresa and their children Madeleine, Matthew and Hannah, Don, his wife Joy Simpson and their son Duncan, Kevin and his wife Valerie Gove. He is also survived by his eldest brother Marc and his in-laws Eddie and Jessie Kaskow, Stella Bayko, and Joe and Linda Kaskow, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Adrien was predeceased by his parents as well as his brothers: Joseph, Peter, Lucien, Harry and his sister Marie. Born on February 7, 1925, Adrien was the sixth of seven children of Adrien Sourisseau and Valentine Henri. He grew up and attended school in St. Boniface. In 1942, as his brothers were leaving home to serve their country, Adrien left school to begin working to help support the family at home. He worked at Motor Coach Industries in Winnipeg, which would later lead to accepting a job at MCI's sister company, Transportation Manufacturing Corp. in Roswell, New Mexico. His career in the purchasing departments of MCI and TMC spanned 48 years. Adrien married Gladys Kaskow on August 13, 1949, and two years later the boys started arriving. Together, Adrien and Gladys raised four sons. In 1975, Adrien accepted the offer of a position at TMC in Roswell, New Mexico. It was a bold decision, but one he never regretted. Adrien and Gladys spent 34 years in Roswell, before deciding to return to Winnipeg in July of 2009. Dad enjoyed many pastimes from wine making to gardening, golf to camping, and of course, he and Mom loved to travel. Over the years they visited such places as: Hawaii, England, Scotland, France, Australia and New Zealand. They also visited many sites throughout North America from Alaska to Nova Scotia. Although, slowed in the past few years by health issues, Dad always enjoyed a glass of wine and a good laugh. He provided a great example of a tireless work ethic and love and loyalty to friends and family alike. We'll miss you Dad.
