ELSIE DOREEN (BRISCOE) WILLIAMS 1933 - 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear sister, sister-in-law and auntie, Elsie Doreen Williams, on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Concordia General Hospital. Elsie was predeceased by her parents John and Elizabeth Briscoe and three brothers; Dennis, Jim, and Ken. She is survived by three brothers, Jack, Raymond, and Allan (Ellen) Briscoe, and five sisters; Lilian (Tom) Briggs, Hazel Dukelow, Bernice (Ken) Gibson, Cecilia (Ron) Bough and Maureen (Jim) Turner, one sister-in-law Avis Briscoe, plus many nieces and nephews. Elsie was born on December 14, 1933 in Winnipeg, MB and was the ninth child of a family of 12. She grew up in St. Vital and attended Woodlawn and Norberry Schools and later attended Success Business College. She worked at Federal Grain and later for the Federal Government as the Secretary to the Commissioner of the RCMP D Division, from which she retired in 1998. Elsie was a very shy and private person but was a very conscientious and loyal employee. She also loved children and took great delight in her nieces and nephews and spending time with family members. In keeping with Elsie's wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will be having a private memorial service. If friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of MB, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2 Psalm 23. The Lord is my Shepherd... Chapel Lawn 885-9715
