HELEN MICLASH (nee FOSTER) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Miclash who passed away on December 16, 2009 at the age of 86 years surrounded by love and her family by her side. She leaves behind to mourn, her children Gladys, Diane, Ross, Todd, Dale and Ronnie; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby, Diane and brother Max. Helen was the ultimate community volunteer, most notably she served as a commissioner of the Boy Scouts as well as president of the St. Charles Community Club and in later years volunteered at 170 Hendon, One Boulton Bay, and Fred Tipping Residence. Recently Helen could be seen riding her wheelchair at the many different charity runs and working at the gift shop at the nursing home. The family extends a sincere thanks to the best nursing staff in Winnipeg at Holy Family Home for always being there for Helen and her family. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, December 23 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Memorial donations in Helen's memory may be made to the Holy Family Home.
