Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE STEVE MANDZUK George Steve Mandzuk passed away peacefully on December 17, 2009 at the age of 70 at Seven Oaks Hospital. He was born on February 7, 1939 in Fisher Branch, Manitoba. His precious memory will be cherished in the hearts of his loving wife Agnes, son Greg Mandzuk (Angie), son Kevin Mandzuk, daughter Tania Mueller (Ron), grandchildren Katarina, Eric, Kaila, Blake, sister Pauline Hrushka (Albert), sister Julie Giesbrecht (Frank), numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Helen and Steve Mandzuk, sisters Florence, Sally, Olga, Ann and Stella. George was healthy and able to enjoy life until his recent illness. George came to Winnipeg in 1956 from Rorketon, Manitoba. He recently retired from AGC Glass where he worked for 49 years as an Installation Technician. George was very creative in building and designing projects at work and at home. He loved spending time with his family and sharing jokes and lots of laughs with his grandchildren. He always welcomed visitors to the house with a cup of coffee and plenty of conversation. Special thanks to Ernie Kolton and sister Pauline for all their support and kindness. Thank you to the staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital for their support and care. Cremation will take place. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Oakbank Baptist Church, 26033 Springfield Road, Oakbank, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association of Manitoba, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6.
