Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY (MINNIE) RODZINSKI On Friday, December 18, 2009, Minnie passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 90 years. Minnie, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother is survived by her children, Gordon (Annette), Virginia (Stan), Ronald, Linda (Edgar), Margaret (Cliff), Douglas, Debra, Leonard, 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her sister Anne Mansell of Victoria, BC. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph; brothers, Mike, Alex, Peter; daughter-in-law Victoria Olsen; son-in-law Brent Dutkewich. Mom was born in Melrose, MB on December 6, 1919. She attended school in Melrose. Mom married the love of her life on November 16, 1941. They lived on the family farm in Cook's Creek and raised eight children. After Dad's passing, Mom raised the children on her own. We did not have to worry about things as Mom was a great cook and the door was open to family and neighbours in the area. She loved to gather on weekends with all the grandchildren and later her great-grandchildren. Mom was loving, kind and never judgmental. Mom was on the farm until 2007 when she moved to the Kin Place Personal Care Home in Oakbank, MB. Prayers will be at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg on Monday, December 21 at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Cook's Creek, MB on Tuesday, December 22 at 10:00 a.m. with viewing one half hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at the St. Michael's Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Joey and Robert Matkowski, Shane, Kyle and Steven Rodzinski, Christopher Eagle. The family would like to extend their thanks to the Kin Place staff for all the love and kindness shown to Mom over the last two and one half years.
