IRENE CLARICE YOUNG (nee RACH) It is with the deepest sorrow and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Irene Clarice Young (Rach), wife of William Young (of 54 years). Irene is survived by her mother Mary Rach, her children Kenneth (Karen), Terry (Sue), Debbie Ready, Darryl (Karen), and Karen (Luigi), 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, sisters Beatrice (Ron) McDougall, Elizabeth (Lloyd) Wyspianski and Edith (Alfred) Kiesman, brothers Allan (Marlene) Rach and Dennis (Bernice) Rach, sister-in-law Margaret Rach, brothers-in-law Harold (Inez) Young and Leonard (Erma) Young, sisters-in-law Edna (Harold) Klann and Leona (Charles) Kramble. Irene is predeceased by her father Albert, brother Lorne, sisters-in-law Caroline (Charles) Miller, Dorothy (Michael) Shady, Marion (Rudy) Friesen, Helen (Joseph) Gluting and Loretta (Wally) Skelepowich. Irene was born in Beausejour, MB on May 29, 1937 to Albert and Mary Rach. She grew up on the family farm in Glenmoor, MB where she met William whom she wed on June 25, 1955. Her family would like to thank the staff at Concordia Hospital I.C.U. for all their special care and to Pastor Bruce Gelhorn and intern Phillip Penrod for their support and comfort. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 211 Kimberley Ave. In lieu of flowers a donation in Irene's name may be made to a charity of ones choice.
