Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK MARK ZEKE It is with great sadness the family announces, after a long and lengthy battle with Parkinson's Disease, Mark Zeke, aged 54 years of Oak Point, MB passed away peacefully at the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale, MB on December 21, 2009. Mark will be lovingly missed by his daughter Candy (Thomas); his three grandchildren Ivan, Eric and Joey; his brother Ken (Shirley) Zeke; a sister-in-law Edith Zeke (Peter); along with his nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Muriel Zeke, his brother Gary Zeke and a sister Rita Klassen. Mark was born on August 31, 1955 in Eriksdale, MB. Mark was employed as a welder for MacDon Industries for many years until he was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. Mark loved the outdoors. He enjoyed snowmobiling and hunting. He treasured spending time socializing with family and friends. He was a perfectionist with his work, especially carpentry. Mark was a hard worker and looked forward to a full day of work. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 28, 2009 at the Oak Point Community Hall with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the hall. Interment to follow at the Oak Point East Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dale Zeke, Darren Zeke, Nathan Zeke, Thomas Chester, Craig Zeke and Kelly Carriere. Honourary pallbearers will be his grandchildren Ivan, Eric and Joey Johannson, his nephew Ken Zeke, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Holly and Claude Foster, and Shawn Fehr. The family would like to thank Dr. Burnet and staff at the E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital. An extra special thank you to the Eriksdale Personal Care Home for the wonderful care that Mark received.
