THELMA ROSE JOSEPH (nee DAY) Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, it is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Thelma Rose Joseph on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the Deer Lodge Center at the age of 84 years. Remaining to forever cherish Thelma's memory are her husband of 64 years Robert Joseph; children Robert (Bonnie) and Debra, and grandson David. Born in Wellington, New Zealand, Thelma took to ballet early in life earning a gold medal in 1939. She enjoyed the skill and creativity of crafts and the character of animals. People often referred to her welcoming smile as one of the best. A private family service will take place on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 followed by interment in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue. Special thanks to the staff and community of Lodge 6 for your care and sociability. Thanks to David Toma and Deloris Estella. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in Thelma's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
