Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN ROHLEDER September 12, 1924 December 20, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother at the age of 85 years on Sunday, December 20, 2009 at the Beausejour Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Mom volunteered in 4-H for 21 years and was also involved in other community organizations. She loved gardening, crocheting and making crafts for her family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered by her family, daughter Rosanne (Joe) Bortoluzzi, daughter Heddy (Bob) Clarke, son Charles, daughter Shirley (Randy) Halipchuk and special nephew Richard (Barb) Rohleder; also one sister Mrs. Mable McWhirter; her friends Dave, Jessie, Charles and Sarah Hewins, Ed Evanko and Mickey DeJong; grandchildren Paul (Lindsey), David, Michelle (Jay), Teresa, Susan (Casey), Christine, Steven (Michelle), Tina (Scott), Michael, Nicole, Amanda (Jason), Jennifer; great-grandchildren Kenneth, Kaitlyn, Ashley, Adam, Christopher, Jayden and Chase as well numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her parents, husband Henry, daughter-in-law Krystal Rohleder and six sisters and three brothers. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Beausejour with Rev. Fr. Owen Steeves presiding. Pallbearers will be Paul Bortoluzzi, David Bortoluzzi, Michael Rohleder, Steven Clarke, Scott Babb, and Michelle Bortoluzzi. Her other grandchildren will act as honourary pallbearers. A very special thanks to Dr. Campbell and the nurses and staff at the Beausejour Hospital for all their wonderful care and compassion.
