JAMES SYDNEY DAVIDSON 1916 - 2009 We have lost a loving father, Pop, brother and friend. It is with heavy hearts we say good-bye to Dad who passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He will be greatly missed by his children Sharon Wilson, Jim (Karmen), Jack (Shirley) and sister Alice Carson of Mapleridge, BC, grandchildren Dean Wilson, Kim Irving, Janelle McGonigal, Dan Davidson, Julie Pringle and Jarrett Davidson, great-grandchildren Jamie, Jenna, Tanner, Taylor, Shay-Lynn, Justiss, Sydney, Dawson, Carter, Sam, Griffin, Grey and Lucy. Dad worked in the grocery industry most of his life. He also spent several years in Minnedosa where he owned the Dari-Isle Drive In with his wife Marion. His greatest pleasures were those moments with his love Marion, his family and many friends. It hurts us tremendously to say goodbye, but to never hurt would mean to never have loved . We are comforted to know that Dad has now been re-united with Mom and has joined God as one of his special angels. As per Dad's request there will be no formal service and a private family gathering will take place at a later date.
