I have tried to find your fathers e-mail to connect with him about your mom, I had no idea they had passed and it brings sadness to me. I have met their daughter when we came to visit Pat(Gladys) in the Care Center. It was just by chance I typed in Gladys Cheverie and up came passages with both their information. Gladys and I roomed to-gether for about 4 years and we had some great times, we hitch hiked from St. Hubert to my home town of Vancouver,BC Two young men in a small car wanted to give us a ride and it was the first time we were nervous, and refused, but as they put it they needed to help us home because they were helped when they were overseas in Europe, they took us from outside of Bellingham, Washington to Vancouver and would not come in and intrude on the family of us coming home and took no money. It has always been a good memory. It would be your grandfather Gladys's dad that came from Winnipeg to give me away at my wedding at St. Hubert, Quebec, how good is that he asked me for nothing, his meals or hotel, same when he came out to Vancouver to see my first born and brought her a dress so small, my granddaughter wore it when she was born in 1991 I hope you don't mind my going on about the past, I have only good memories about Pat (Gladys) Thanks for putting them in the passages for me to find.
