She grew up in Arborg, and lived there until she moved to Fraserwood with her family in 1953. She worked and owned Fraserwood Creamery with her mother and brother Richard after her father Larus passed away in 1956, until the plant closed and she retired to Gimli. The family wishes to thank CancerCare Manitoba and a special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at the Health Sciences Centre.
