Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAGNES ISABEL ROLSTON Peacefully on December 27, 2009 at Golden West Centennial Lodge, our beloved mother and grandmother passed away with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband Harold (Rollie), her parents Hank and Isabel Lyle and her sister Ruth. Our Mom and Nan will be dearly missed by her daughter Bareth (William), granddaughter Kimbirli (Randy), grandson Lindsay (Anita) and great-grandchildren Taylor, Kira, Anil and Shawn. Agnes was born on March 20, 1918 in Lyleton and went to school in Deloraine. She became a Hairdresser in Virden, where she met Rollie and they were soon married in Brandon. Transferring with RBC to Dryden, Keewatin and later Winnipeg. She was busy as a homemaker, bowling, curling, bridge clubs and UCW. As her family grew Sunday dinners were always important. Her grandchildren were very special; she made sure to attend as much as possible the activities they were involved in. The arrival of her four great-grandchildren truly filled Nan with joy and pride. In 2004 Mom moved into Golden West Centennial Lodge. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the 4th floor staff for their support and care, a special thank you to Jo-Ann. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba, Unit 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with a reception to follow. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
