FREDERICK THEODORE KRYM Fred passed away peacefully at the age of 93 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on December 27, 2009. Fred was born on February 20, 1916 in Morris, Manitoba, son of Andrew and Nettie (nee Boychuk). Fred had one brother who died in infancy. He began farming with his mother and father in Domain until the family purchased and moved to the current family farm in Rosser, Manitoba in 1948. He married Geraldine Roth of Beiseker, Alberta in 1959 and spent the rest of his life farming in Rosser. In his later years, he suffered from Parkinson Disease. He was a member of the Silver Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church in Winnipeg, where he served as Deacon and Elder. Fred was a kind soul with a good sense of humour. His life touched many people who will miss him deeply. Fred was predeceased by his father Andrew in 1969 and mother Nettie in 1978. Fred leaves to cherish his memory his wife Geraldine, daughter Valerie (Russell MacDonald), son Lynden (Donna) and grandchildren Chantelle, Justin, and Ashley. The family extends their heartfelt thank you to all the staff of West Park Manor Personal Care Home for their outstanding care and concern. In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made to the Parkinson Society of Manitoba, 302-171 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 1M4.
