Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES (JIM) RAMSEY FERRIS September 21, 1930 - December 27, 2009 Jim passed away peacefully with friends and staff at his side. Jim will be missed and fondly remembered by his special friend Joanne, as well as his roommate Ivan and longtime support staff member and friend Mildred. He is also survived by his stepsister Elsie Donahoe. He was predeceased by his brother Elwood. Jim was a friendly gentleman and enjoyed music and cars. He played various musical instruments and loved to play his harmonica on a daily basis for roommates and visitors. Jim attended church in his community and was often heard singing old religious tunes. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 5 at 12:00 p.m. noon at Maranatha Evangelical Free Church, 910 Sturgeon Road with Pastor Dave Friesen. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
