IRENE KOURI (nee CRAWLEY) Peacefully, on December 30, 2009, Irene passed away at Selkirk General Hospital at the age of 76 years. Irene will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 52 years, Paul. She will also be remembered by her daughter Bonita (Shuow) and their children, David, Shantel, Mark and Aaron; daughter Alaina, and son Paul; brother Robert of Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, as well as nieces and nephews. Irene was predeceased by her son-in-law Joseph. Irene was very active in the church, doing things as, playing the organ and conducting the choir. While living up North she enjoyed and continued to do the same. Irene and I had an RCMP Wedding in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, on January 2, 1957 and she by my side through many transfers to postings in Saskatchewan and Manitoba for 35 years. The family wish to thank the staff at Red River Nursing Home and Selkirk General Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Irene. Prayers will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow in Regina, Saskatchewan.
