DAVID THOMAS ROCK Peacefully, on Wednesday, December 30, 2009, David passed away at the Golden West Centennial Lodge at the age of 81 years. Remaining to forever cherish David's memory are the love of his life Marjorie, who he shared 41 years of marriage with; brother, Alex (Vera); very special sisters-in-law, Marjorie Rock and Eleanor Elmer; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families whom he loved. Born in Winnipeg on December 9, 1928, David was a gentle, soft spoken person and had a very kind soul. He had a smile and a way about him that was so easy to love. He loved music and was an excellent dancer. David could dance his way around anyone and was always the last one to leave the dance floor. He was the ultimate host and always made sure everyone was looked after, especially his girls. In keeping with David's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. The family would like to thank all the staff at Golden West for their love and exceptional care. We are forever grateful for the wonderful and lasting friendships that have been made.
