DOROTHY (BEN) JACOBSON (nee HARVIE) It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our mother Dorothy Jacobson on December 23, 2009 at the age of 83 years. Mom will be greatly missed by her husband Normand, of 63 years; daughter Norma (Wayne); sons Bruce (Beverly), Nels (Grace), George (Rose) and Douglas (Elaine); grandchildren Lori Ann, Derek, Alleyna, Erik, Katherine, Trisha, Bryan, Dana, Adam, Lee, Tessa and Kayla; great-grandchildren, Ben, Kole, Austin and Aiden. Mom also leaves her brother Clarence Harvie as well as many nieces and nephews. A celebration of mom's life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street. Upon her request, cremation has taken place and a private family burial will take place. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to all the Dialysis Staff 6th Floor A and B side at the Health Sciences Centre for their outstanding care and compassion.
