MARTHA GOTTFRIED November 3, 1919 - January 1, 2010 It is with great sadness that the Gottfried family announces the sudden passing of Martha on January 1, 2010 at the Gimli Community Health Centre. Martha was predeceased by her husband Albert, daughters-in-law, Beatrice and Lynn; granddaughter Katherine; her parents Zaharis and Elizabeth Lenchuk; siblings, Mary, Katherine, Florian, Ann, John, Peter, Elizabeth, Karl and Harry. Left to mourn Mom are sons, Leonard (Cindy), Fred, Harvey and daughter Patricia; grandchildren, Garrett (Carrie), Tanya (Michael Johnson), Everett, Henry, Lorraine, Michael (Debbie), Steven (Vero), Garth (Jen), Megan (Grant Buchholz), Kate and Aleda; great-grandchildren, Linden Gottfried, Levi Johnson, Taylor, Nicholas, Vanessa, and Samantha Corry; sisters, Caroline, Cecelia (John) and Helen also Kim Hobson and Peter Corry. The Gottfried family wishes to thank Dr. Benshaban, Donna Wishinowski and the caregivers at Gimli Community Health Centre and Betel Home (especially her Maggie - Maggie Sveinson). In keeping with Mom's wishes a family gathering will take place at a later date. Those who wish may make a donation in Mom's name to the Gimli Human Society, Box 1999, Gimli, Manitoba ROC 1BO.
