ROBERT DOUGLAS JOHANNESEN Robert Douglas Johannesen of Balmoral passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, January 4, 2010. He leaves to mourn his passing, loving wife Ethel, children Sheldon (Joan) of Michigan, Rob (Linda) of Miramichi, NB, Randy (Heather) of Woodlands, Ryan of Stonewall, Brad (Kathy) of Thunder Bay, ON, Rob (Diane) of Melville, SK, Lisa (Doug) of Irricana, AB, Mark (Kim) of The Pas, MB; grandchildren Zac, Jordan, Kyle, Kori, Kyle, Kelly, Brent, Adam, Jeremy, Wesley, Kasmira, Alexandria, Ali, Graham, Nicholas, Karli; three great-grandchildren Matais, Dillon, Jaden; daughter-in-law Sunday Johnson, Aunt Lil Suche, sisters, brothers, in-laws, many nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends. He was predeceased by son Ronald and mother Ella. Dad was involved in construction for many years. His hobbies included hunting, fishing but most of all he enjoyed being with his family. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 8 at 1:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Stonewall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or to Southwest District Palliative Care, Box 1282, Stonewall, MB R0C 2Z0.
