VICTORIA MAY GLADYS MOAR (nee POTTER) With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Victoria on Monday, January 4, 2010 at her residence, Extended Care Oakview Place, at the age of 78 years. Remaining to cherish Victoria's memory are her children: sons, Wayne Moar (Carol), Jock Moar (Glenda); daughters, Jamie Murray (Ron); Cynthia Muirhead (Bill), Eileen Cuthbert (Daryl); grandchildren, Ashley (Chris), Mandi (Cam), Jayson (Aurissa), Donald (Alexandra M.), Keana, Natasha (Ryan), Jessica and Taylor; great-grandchildren, Aurora, Brianne, Jade, Jeffrey, Krimson, Wynter and Haydn; and by her sister Julliet LaFortune. She was predeceased by her husband James W. Moar; brothers, Percy and Gibson Thompson. Victoria's favourite pastimes were playing bingo, cards, and spending time with family, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In compliance with Victoria's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. In honour of our Mom there will be a Come and Go Tea on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at 337 Hillary Bay, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Our family would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to Extended Care Two North for their care and support; nurse Eleanor for her care and nightly ice water, and also to her friend (Al Carruthers) for his friendship.
