Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAUDREY IRENE SMITH Peacefully on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at the Portage District General Hospital, Audrey Irene Smith of Portage la Prairie, widow of the late Lawrence Smith passed away at the age of 93 years. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010 at the Omega Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. with Beth Kerr officiating. Interment will take place, prior to the funeral, at the MacGregor Cemetery on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Predeceased by her mother Matilda in 1962; her father William in 1972; her husband Lawrence in 1997; her son Kenneth in 2000; sister Edith Steiss in 1996. She leaves to mourn her passing her son Grant and Eva of LaSalle; daughter Faye and Garry Buchanan of Pinawa; son Ned and Linda of Winnipeg, nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sister Hazel Beattie of Oak Bank and several nieces and nephews. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the MacGregor United Church Memorial Fund, MacGregor, Manitoba, R0H 0R0 or to the Trinity United Church, 15 Tupper St. S., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 1W7.
