HENRY HARDER BERGEN Henry Harder Bergen, 78 of Steinbach formerly of New Bothwell went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 13, 2010. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Hilda (Dyck), and three daughters Brenda (Gordon Hiebert), Elaine (Albert Jeon) and Debra. He leaves seven grandchildren: Rebecca, Rosalyn (Jamie Froese), Sarah, John, Katherine, Erin and Benjamin. He was predeceased by his wife Helena (Toews) in 1978, one son John in 1958 and one grandson in 1996. The funeral service for Henry Bergen will take place Sunday, January 17 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chortitzer Mennonite Church, 479 Hanover, Steinbach with interment at the Silberfeld CMC Cemetery. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr, Steinbach on Saturday, January 16 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.
