GEORGE HOWARD HORSWELL Comfortably on January 11, 2010, at the Riverview Health Center George passed away with his family by his side. Dad was born January 4, 1951 in New Market, Ontario. In 1973 he moved to Yellowknife, NT and met his loving wife Donna and had two children, Sheila and Carrie. Dad loved hunting for caribou and going fishing for arctic char with his friends. In 1986 his work at Arctic Co-op moved the family south ending up in Winnipeg where we made our home. Dad will be remembered for his hospitality and great sense of humour. Dad did not wish for a funeral service and cremation has taken place. He has asked that everyone remember him in their own way. Celebrate his life; remember the laughs and smiles he gave to all. Flowers are gratefully declined. If extended family or friends so wish donations can be sent to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9, in George's name.
