BRUCE ROBERT NEUFELD 1943 - 2010 On January 12, 2010, our beloved husband, father, papa, brother and friend slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus at St. Boniface Hospital with his wife, children, brother and Pastor by his side. Bruce was born on April 25, 1943 to John and Thelma Neufeld who predeceased him. On November 13, 1971, he married the love of his life Lynda (nee Bischoff) and together they raised three children. Along with Lynda, his children and grandchildren: Jamie, Ryan (Cecile) and their children, Cassy, Larrisa and Zachary and Tracy (Adam) Bartel and their children, Austin and Tyler survive him. Bruce also leaves his brother Lary (Mary) and sisters, Dorothy (Jim) and Helen, as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother John and sister Betty Sloan. Bruce worked in plumbing sales for over 36 years. First at Sutherland Supply, then Schwartz Sales and until his passing, he was employed at Dynasty Bath. He loved working with people and will be missed by his many customers and co-workers. His first love was our Heavenly Father and we know that he is in paradise today with Jesus. Bruce attended Elmwood Christian Fellowship and his sisters and brothers in the Lord will remember his fun loving ways. Family was everything to Bruce and he spent 38 years making wonderful memories for Lynda and his children and grandchildren. He has run the race and leaves behind a great legacy. We would like to thank the hospital staff that attended to Bruce, especially Dr. Dave, Nurse Valerie and Pastor Marcia who showed such compassion to him and his family at the time of his passing. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Monday, January 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Elmwood Christian Fellowship, 414 Tweed Ave.
