GORDON EARL YOUNG Gordon was born on February 19, 1934 and passed away at the Victoria General Hospital, BC on January 14, 2010. Gord was predeceased by his wife Gwen (Sanderson Bartlett), January 19, 1972, his daughter Shannon Rae, January 19, 1962. Parents, Margaret (Lyons) and Edward Young; siblings, sister Ella and brothers, Norman, John and Robert Young. He is survived by his children Leslie Moore-Bunney (Tom) and granddaughters Jamie (Rich) and great-grandson Dylan Thomas Freeman of Australia. Kelly (Jason). Daughter Shelly Betton (Rob) and granddaughter Samantha. Daughter Jennifer Young (Mike), grandson Tyler; daughter Shannon Young and grand-children Jordon, Nick, Alexis, Arianna. Son, Shane Young and granddaughter Kierra. Gord is also survived by sisters, Edna Lynch (Bill), Pearl Burke, and brother Alvin Young (Lorraine) along with numerous nieces and nephews. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back, May the sunshine warm your face, and the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
