PETER LOEWEN Peter Loewen aged 89 years of Altona, Manitoba and formerly of Halbstadt, Manitoba passed away at Altona Health Care Centre on January 17, 2010. Left to cherish his memory are his children Henry (Linda); Bill (Jo-Ann); Frank (Sylvia); Kathy (Roger) Woywoda; Robert (Betty); also 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Peter Loewen was predeceased by his wife Mary and also by two grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church in Altona, Manitoba with interment to follow in the Blumenthal Cemetery. Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. as well at the church prior to the service.
