Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROLAND (RON) VOURIOT Peacefully at Seven Oaks General Hospital, Roland (Ron) Vouriot, dearly beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Gibson) passed away on January 16, 2010, at the age of 85 years. He was born in St. Boniface where he was educated and lived a good part of his life. Ron and Elizabeth were married in 1952 and resided in Winnipeg. He worked for CN/CP Telecommunications for 35 years and due to ill health retired early in 1978. In his active life Ron enjoyed golf, bowling and bridge. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Bette, his son Laurence (Mariannick Petit) and granddaughter Adelina, and daughter Suzanne. He was predeceased by his son Mark in 1979. At his request cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street with a reception to follow. A private family burial will take place at a later date in the St. Boniface Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. DESJARDINS 233-4949 1-888-233-4949
