MARTHA REGITNIG (nee HEIN) On January 17, 2010 after a final battle with cancer Martha Regitnig (nee Hein), aged 78, passed away to be with her Saviour Jesus Christ. Our beloved Martha leaves behind Paul, her loving husband of 52 years, her children, Patricia (Jon) and Peter (Sheryl); her grand-children, Stephen, Stephanie, Heather and Beth; her brothers and sisters, Tillie, Ellie (Morgan), Olga, Ewald (Nieves) and Ervin (Dianne) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Otto and Mathilde Hein and her brother Alfred. Martha lived a full life that was characterized by generosity, hospitality and thoughtfulness of others and was not defined by her physical suffering and limitations. Martha had a deep affection for her immediate and extended family and especially for her grandchildren. She was a faithful friend who valued and loved people. She had an unwavering faith in the Lord and was a committed member of Faith Lutheran Church. We will all miss her deeply, but rejoice that she now enjoys a new body in her heavenly Father's presence. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 22, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 1311 Dakota Street, Winnipeg, MB R2N 1V8.
