Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYE BRADLEY GUNDERSON Raye Bradley Gunderson, born December 20, 1950, passed away January 18, 2010 at the age of 59. What a very sad day to hear of his passing. He left a significant mark on many who will forever cherish the memories made throughout the lifetime we had together. Left to mourn his passing are his wife Bev, sons Chris (Kim), Jayme (Chelsey) and precious grandchildren Haley and Cody. Siblings include; brothers Edward (Sonny), Lloyd (Pat), Don (Sissel), Dennis (Judy), Murray, sister in-law Linda, sisters Donna (Ron), twin sister Carol (Ron) and their families, also a special aunt Emily Hendry. He was predeceased by his parents Clarence and Laura, sister Esther and brother-in-law Victor, brother Carter and sister-in-law Irene. Raye excelled at work. He worked hard and diligently and was meticulous about every job. He was employed with the Federal Government on a survey crew, worked with Diamond Redi Mix, MTS, the City of Steinbach and Manitoba Hydro. Heavy equipment was his joy and specialty. Each day working with his co-workers at Manitoba Hydro was an experience to behold. From Raye you never knew what to expect. Some of his favourite past times included hunting, trapping, hockey, baseball, old time dances, listening to music and sharing great times with friends in his shop. Times with his family he treasured. A passion for people, genuine, bold, meticulous, hard working, focused, determined, colourful, creative, generous, one of a kind, incomparable --- Raye Gunderson . Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Piney Community Hall, Piney, Manitoba. Raye will be laid to rest following the service in the Norwegian Cemetery, Menisino, Manitoba Funeral arrangements entrusted to: Vita Funeral Homes Vita Chapel Vita, Manitoba
