ELEANOR CLARE WINRAM (nee HOLIDAY) Eleanor was born in Winnipeg on August 23, 1920 to Randolph and Mary Holiday. She passed away January 17, 2010 with Jack, her loving husband of 70 years, by her side. Eleanor is survived by their children Lex (Cynthia), Yvonne (Charles) and Alison (Tony); also by grandchildren Sean, Jack and Diana; step-grandchildren Claire and Jill; great-grandchildren Emma, Gavin, Anthony, Shelby, Marcus and Norah, She will also be missed by her niece Brenda and nephew Blake. Eleanor was predeceased by her sister Frances Whitley in January 2008. Eleanor was a loving and devoted wife, mother and friend. She had strong faith and great love of nature and animals which she instilled in her children by often saying every little movement has a meaning all its own. The Family would like to thank the staff at St. Michael's Care Home in Burnaby for their tender care of mom and support for her family. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held at St. John's Shaughnessy Church, 1490 Nanton Avenue, Vancouver, BC. at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2010.
