Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY MARGARET CHARLES With sad hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Dorothy Margaret Charles (nee Dowbiggin) of Winnipeg on January 21, 2009, the day before her birthday, at the Concordia Hospital. Dorothy is survived by her husband Arnie of Winnipeg. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 30 at 2:00 p.m. at Grey Street United Church, NE Grey and Sandhurst. Service will terminate at the church. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society or Grey Street United Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements entrusted to Voyage Funeral Homes, 220 Hespeler Avenue, 668-3151.

Throughout my life Aunt Dorothy was always loving . The times I'd help spring clean the kitchen and spend the day chatting together. It was always cherished. Boxing Day was the highlight of the season for me. The stories, games, Santa Claus on the toilet seat and Uncle Arnie's beautiful singing were some of the most memorable times a grown woman could ask for. Without the two of you in my younger years, I would not have become the woman I am today.
