ANNE ROMANIUK (nee SIWICKI) September 29, 1916 - January 22, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister, Anne Romaniuk on Friday, January 22, 2010 at Holy Family Nursing Home Home. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Sophie (Bohden), William, Donald (Adeline), and Dan (Yvonne), her 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and dear sister Nell Mazur, many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1979, her parents Barbara and John Siwicki, brother Michael and daughter-in-law Helen. The family would like to thank the staff at Holy Family Nursing Home for their wonderful care and support. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 390 Marion Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne's memory to a charity of your choice.   • The oldest memories I have are of Baba and Gigi tagteam planting potatoes at our place (the old farm). I'd define her as a person who was courageous and always spoke her mind.
