ANNE DEMANIUK Peacefully on Saturday, January 23, 2010, Anne passed away at the age of 92 years. She is survived by her stepchildren Judy (Mike), Brian (Darlene) and Patricia; grandchildren David (Janice), Catherine (Chris), Tanya (Wayne) and Mark; and great-grandchildren Benjamin, Brayden, and Carlin. She will fondly be remembered by her sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Nazar and Maria Sichkar; sisters Joanne, Olga, Emily and Bertha; her first husband Alex Zalusky and her second husband George Demaniuk. Anne was born in Pine River, Manitoba in 1917, but lived most of her life in Winnipeg. Anne loved cooking, baking, crocheting, and spending time with her family, especially the visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Concordia Hospital, Deer Lodge Centre, and Oakview Place for their compassionate care. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the charity of their choice. 586-8044
