ALEXANDER ACHTEMICHUK It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather Alexander Achtemichuk on January 25, 2010. Born in Rhein, Saskatchewan on March 29, 1930, Alex moved to Winnipeg in 1954, marrying Carol and settling into the Stonewall area. Left to mourn his passing is his wife Carol of over 50 years, twins Donald (Wendy) and Linda (Larry) and Bernice (Phil), grandchildren Ryan (Ashley), Dale (Ashley), Tegan, Jamie, Kevin and Lindsey, and great-grandbaby, Whitley. Funeral service to be held Friday, January 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m at Christ the King Church, Stonewall, MB. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests the consideration of donations to CancerCare Manitoba and thanks the entire medical team that cared for Dad, over the last few years.
