ALFRED CHARLES BRENNAN May 27, 1920 - January 27, 2010 Peacefully, four months before his 90th birthday, Alfred Charles Brennan passed away at the Misericordia Health Centre. He is survived by wife Alice, children, Edith (Gary), Lin, Beryl (Ken), Neal (Linda) and Pamela (Dave) also many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and infant daughter Laura Mae. Alfred worked for over 25 years at T. Eaton Company until the closure of the mail-order department. He also enjoyed many years working for the Province of Manitoba at Birds Hill Park as a landscaper. Alf loved the outdoors, camping, and was an avid gardener. Over the years, he and his wife enjoyed travelling and took many trips with friends and family. The pets he had throughout his life, brought him much joy. The family wishes to thank all the staff of the 5th floor Misericordia Health Centre for their kindness and compassion over the last four months. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 30 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Alf to the Misericordia Health Foundation.
