JOHN BOSTON With great sadness we announce the passing of our much loved husband, father and papa, John Boston, on January 24, 2010 at Seven Oaks Hospital. John was predeceased by his son Rocky, sister Sally and his parents, Peter and Roza. John is lovingly remembered by his wife Yvonne; daughters, Terri-Lynn (Larry) and Tannis; son Rob; grandchildren, Krista (Herman), Kaily, Trevor, Shaelynn, Brandon; and his two brothers, Wally (Madeline) and Phil, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. John joined the RCMP in August of 1949. The next 30 years saw him stationed in Saskatchewan, Yukon Territories, Northwest Territories and Manitoba, where he retired as Staff Sergeant in August 1979. Following his retirement from the RCMP an enjoyable 13 years was spent working at Bel Acres Golf Country Club. In 1992 after having spent his many winters in the cold, the warmth and sun of Yuma, Arizona caught his attention and held it for 17 years. Memorial service will be held Monday, February 1, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Stonewall. Flowers gratefully declined. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
